  FDP on “Communication & Teaching Pedagogy”

  FDP on Communication & Teaching Pedagogy was organized by YMT College o f Management for MMS & MCA faculty members on 27th June, 2016. The FDP was conducted by Dr. K. P. Gopalkrishnan and twenty faculty attended the same.

  Theme of FDP was to give insights of the pedagogy tools with reference to the MMS & MCA courses and the required change agent for faculty members’ which is an interactive model to be adopted in the classroom for better learning environment, keeping in a mind the students at the centre of learning.

  Market Niti 2016, an inter-collegiate Mock Stock competition, organized by Market Wizardz evidenced the participation of MMS 1st year students of Dr. G. D. Pol Foundation YMT College of Management. It was a proud moment to announce 3 students who qualified the competition.

  D-Addiction Day Seminar

  YCOM organized the De-addiction program in association with Rotary Club, Kharghar under the “Addiction Free India Program” on 12th March, 2016. The program was graced by Prof Swati Padoshi, I/c Director and Dean, YMT College of Management, Mr. Sunil Bhatia President Rotary Club, Dr. Sachin Parab & Dr. Sharad Kokate, Dean of YMT Dental College. The valuable insights were provided by the key note speaker, Dr. Sachin Parab [Project Director, Global Initiative of Tobacco Awareness (GITA) Head, Medical Wing of Brahma Kumaris.

  Panel Discussion on Union Budget 2016-17

  The session involved a preliminary review of the Union Budget, macroeconomic aspects, taxation issues, stock market analysis, reactions and views on impact on the industry. Panel members included Mrs. Surekha Joshi, Manager-Institutional Sales, SMC Global, CA Anand Laddha, Research analyst, Edelwise Capital who provided their insight and views on the Union Budget, from their respective areas of expertise.

  Blood Donation Camp

  YYMT College of Management organized Blood donation camp on 5th March 2016.The camp was organized in association with Rotary Club. The camp witnessed active participation from students of MMS and MCA programmes as well as teaching and non teaching staff of the college.

  Arcturus (software presentation competition)

  This competition ranging 2 rounds, was open for under graduate students across all streams. The first round was power point presentation of the software and the second execution of the software. The judges for the first round were Mr. Sushant Das, Director and Co-Founder ,Eduonix Learning Solutions, Mr. Zartab Nakhwa,CEO and Founder, Asterix Solution and Mr. Nitin Aurora Team Lead,CMS INFOSYSTEMS. The Judges for the second round were Mr. Sameer Wagh Chief Architect and CEO at Commtex Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The winners of Arcturus 2016 were Mr.Navin Sharma and Ms.Ashi Singh.

  Road safety week is celebrated with great enthusiasm every year. YCOM along with Navi Mumbai Traffic Police organized the Road Safety Seminar and also participated in Road Safety Rally on 16th January, 2016. The aim of celebrating the road safety week is to promote the road-safety measures.
